From the dance halls of 1920s Harlem Lindy hop exploded with the worldwide swing craze of the 30s and 40s. Over the last 20-30 years swing dancing has been enjoying a global renaissance. London has been one of the major cities driving this revival - and it's now spreading rapidly from town to town across the country.

Established in 1998, Swingland is a leading and well-respected swing dancing school and swing dance and music promoter based in the London area. Our Windsor classes are taught by Swingland founder Martin Ellis and his wife Ruth, with Rosie Skinner helping when Ruth is unavailable.
