MUSIC NEWS: To Arms Etc play the first Ignition of the year

by Firestation Admin on January 22, 2011

To Arms Etc’s sound calls to mind such diverse artists as Van der Graaf Generator, Devo, Spiritualized and Tears for Fears.  It’s chamber pop melodies but with indie sensibilities.

“A snapshot of the 21st Century played out with baroque undertones and an ear for a catchy tune” - Uncut Magazine.

See them play here at the Firestation, 8pm Friday 4th February. (With support from A Fine Day For Sailing. PLUS a CD Launch party for The Firestation’s very own compilation, Surburban Campfires.)
