The Firestation’s very own resident Victorian, time travelling, disco dancing, patron of the arts - Professor Hitchin, invites you to join him at his Imaginarium for a New Year's Eve party that promises to be quite unlike anything else on the planet!   

At 8pm on the 31st of December The Firestation will be transformed into a magical, decadent and curious place where anything could happen at any time – in any time… 

All the freaks and wonders of the sideshow are to come out to celebrate the turn of the year in Windsor’s very own Glam Goth Cabaret and dance away to songs from everyone’s favourite decade when The Professor turns on his time machine at the stroke of midnight.

In the main Auditorium guests are invited to a very special cabaret hosted by the troubled but divine Miss Treated and featuring burlesque, magic, music and comedy. The Firestation is staging a event like no other! A fabulously opulent evening of naughtiness, wonder and delight.

Entertainment includes burlesque from ‘The Fly Ba Nights' and Fifi Fatale, magic and metalism from Ian Souch and live music from Amy's Ghost.

Miss D Flowered and Innocence Purrs’ - aka The Fly Ba Nights - will be performing the delightfully adult show ‘Broken Doll’.. an erotic, poignant and tantalising burlesque performance, a broken doll and her puppeteer, but who is pulling the strings?

Stepping out of the vintage eras, Fifi Fatale's darker style entwines with the classic burlesque of yesteryear, bringing to the stage decadent and elegantly choreographed performances that are graceful and sultry. Inspired and influenced by golden age Hollywood, Renaissance and Art Nouveau, she revels in the decades of the 1920's to the 1940's. A mysterious siren with a vintage figure, ivory skin and a cascade of ebony hair, combines with opulent costumes and props making Fifi a true femme fatale.

Magic and Mentalism from Ian Souch – member of the prestigious Magic Circle who performs bewildering mind-bending, mind-reading, at once sinister and hilarious and ultimately entertaining. Ian is regarded as one of the finest Mentalists performing in the South East and will dazzle and confound you in equal measure.

Live music comes from the glorious Amy's Ghost - ethereal pop and enchanting vocals from these rising stars from the Reading scene. Cello led, mesmerising and intoxicating romance, think Kate Bush if she was dating Lord Byron.

If all that wasn't enough, The Basement Studio hosts a very special edition of The Firestations’ popular ‘open stage’ event ‘Hitchin’s Lab', with a hand picked selection of performers who have enthralled and entertained Windsor over the past year. Expect poets, singers, comedians and everything from the ridiculous to the sublime to the weird and wonderful.

And once the bells have chimed and 2009 becomes 2010….

Guys: Black tie, tuxedo, suit or top hat.  Moustache, spectacles and cane!  Strong men. Circus ring masters. Morning jackets and dapper gents. .
Girls: Day dresses. Evening gowns. Bloomers. TuTus. Frills. Ruffles, corsets and bows. 

And Frankie Says… Make up compulsory for all!
