Firestation Bookswap, as you surely know by know, is one of The Firestation’s proudest achievements.

The drill? You bring a book and brill hosts Scott Pack & Marie Phillips bring the tea and cake, and people pitch for books that they like the sound of. And brilliant authors talk, and also pitch a book that they like but want to swap, etc – and no one goes home emptyhanded.

Our guests this month are novelists John Harding and Jonathan Pinnock.

John is the acclaimed author of several books. His first, What We Did On Our Holiday, was turned into an ITV drama starring Shane Richie and Pauline Collins. His latest, Florence & Giles, is a gothic thriller inspired by The Turn of the Screw.

Jonathan’s new book is Mrs Darcy vs The Aliens, a rather unusual sequel to Pride & Prejudice.
